From the Golden Age of Comics, with his work onWonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Wildcat (which he created with Batman co-creator Bill Finger) to his three decades on the Dondi syndicated strip to his many years as a teacher at the Kubert School, Irwin Hasen made an important mark on comics. When he passed away in March at the advanced age of 96, his friends and fans were nonetheless shocked that this force of nature was stilled. Celebrating Hasen's art and life are Michael Uslan (producer of the Batman films), Jim Salicrup (Papercutz editor-in-chief), Chelle Mayer (granddaughter of legendary editor Sheldon Mayer), Arie Kaplan (From Krakow to Krypton: Jews and Comic Books), David Armstrong (American Association of Comicbook Collectors) and moderator Danny Fingeroth (The Stan Lee Universe). Clips from a documentary about Irwin will be shown.
