For genre producers, today's transmedia (film, television, toy) possibilities have never been greater. However, with each opportunity comes the potential loss of creative control and exploitation without reward. Taking matters into his own hands, moderator Sohaib Awan (CEO of Jabal Entertainment and creator of Jinnrise) is spearheading Jabal Entertainment's Jinnrise 3D/CG animated series. Along with panelists Yuri Lowenthal (Naruto, Ben 10), James Arnold Taylor (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Bryce Papenbrook (Attack on Titan), Russ Carney (Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Ron Corcillo (Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), David W. Collins (LucasArts sound designer), and Chris Ryall (editor-in-chief, IDW Publishing), Sohaib will walk attendees through the step-by-step process of independently taking an original intellectual property and translating it into another medium like television.
