Stephen J. Lind (Washington and Lee University) provides insights into the enthymematic nature of comic strip argumentation by examining how Charles Schulz was able to incorporate provocative ideas into his mainstream Peanuts comic strip. John Auxier (Trinity Western University) applies research on distressed couple communication patterns to examine the relational content of Peanuts strips during the late 1960s-early 1970s, a time of marital discord for Charles Schulz. Also joining the panel from the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center Cesar Gallegos.
